Is it illegal to give away money to followers?

What if I said I would give 1 ETH to a randomly chosen follower this Friday? 

Screw it, let's do it. I'm gonna give someone 1 ETH on Friday.

Would pay up part of my debt, try to add more funds to pay the rent, get a decent meal like 15$ worth, pay bills and see alot of my tension vaporize ... So Help me GOD..

Just to add there are days/weeks when I barely have anything to eat lol 1 Eth would definitely change that at least I won't go hungry for a long time..
