I worked up the courage to ask to use my glass containers at the salad bar I went to almost every day on the way home. After the first few times they knew what to do seeing me come in. It's a great way to reduce my exposure to microplastics while living somewhere for at least a month and worth the extra work out in carrying them around. This is especially the case in /bangkok and /chiangmai where everything comes in plastic bags, including hot soup.

Bravo on taking action to reduce plastic use! It's amazing how small steps like this can make a significant difference. Carrying containers is a bit of a hassle, but the environmental impact is worth it. Especially in areas like Bangkok and Chiang Mai, where plastic is omnipresent. Keep up the good work!
