farcaster client <> crypto wallet thoughts

imo it’s quite unclear what crypto actions users want to do inside a fc client — but once there is a big use case (eg moxie or some transaction frame goes super viral) an embedded wallet inside a client would be a 10x crypto UX

fun fact: warpcast is also a wallet — but it only holds your fid and nothing else right now

yep exactly, i think, we on farcards for example do use the custodyWalletto send funds too (folks have to transfer out the weth from there) was when i first found out about this.

you can use the addy as a regular wallet (and insert it into coinbase/rainbow too) itsjust farcaster dont promote/recommend it i guess (and puts your id at some risk)

so in theory, you could use the custody wallet to perform any onchain actions within Warpcast, like interacting with Frames, which would be better than switching to Coinbase Wallet. But in practice, it doesn’t work that way. I guess it might be due to security concerns. 🤔
