wouldn't the identity stealers be able to prove their humanship easily without being the true identity holders unless you zk it or smt idk

I guess it mostly helps against scammers trying to charge thousands of fake purchases with stolen cards through your merchant which usually ends bad for your score as it's all going to get reclaimed/refunded to the banks and you'll have to deal with that.

Other thoughts in this direction, captcha's where this for long time before bots got too smart. Or just basic math 😂 (remember old forums signup questions lol)

Nowadays we have stuff like worldcoin but I've read you can basically -buy- or -rent- people's worldcoin id's for pretty cheap like 20 bucks or whatever, adds some friction to the bad guys but im guessing they're also the ones making black markets to sell those new -proof of human-ship that they need to operate now.

Yeah good point. I’m referring more to KYC where proving your human is not enough.
