This week at Praça Margarida de Menezes: community cleanup + international visit!

We had the honor of hosting José Cocio, a high-level skater from Lima, Peru, visiting Brazil. We introduced him to our plaza that we maintain with Nouns support, and he left some incredible tricks recorded to inspire local skaters in our region.
Connecting cultures through skateboarding and showing how the Nouns community support is transforming local spots into internationally recognized spaces.
The essence of skating is sharing spots and inspiration. Proud to see our revitalized plaza welcoming talents from other countries!

Updating the impact of José Cocio's visit (Peruvian skater): we provided 1 beard trim, spent 60 minutes cleaning the plaza together, offered 2 days of accommodation, gave him new grip tape, and had a 1-hour skate session with local friends. @blessskateshop

Praça Margarida de Menezes has always been special to our local community, but now it's becoming a meeting point for skaters from different countries. 
This is only possible thanks to the support from the Nouns community and everyone who believes in our work.
