Have seen a few casts recently on how we should attract more developers to Farcaster

In talking to developers building on Farcaster today—and developers who built on Farcaster previously and then stopped—the top request is more users.

Why more users?
- More users on Farcaster means more people to potentially use their product
- If the product is a business, more usage means more opportunity to make money
- Acquiring users for an app or service is *really* hard

attracting users from X to Farcaster is a process

it'll take many people, and a lot of growth - individual projects succeeding, people yapping about them, users learning 

I never liked "cast" because it was another foreign term, I told dan that and he explained the rationale. I understood but didn't believe.

Weekly Stats (12/30/2024–01/05/2025) for newcaster.org:

- 184 users registered Farcaster accounts via paid ETH.
- 10 free invites claimed.
- Total: 194 new users joined!

The interesting part is people don't like to invite friends.. all registered with paid eth.
