Been enjoying vibe coding a lot lately, as well as AI art generation, and I'm starting to wonder if using AI this much is actually having a NEGATIVE effect on my creativity..........

Why do you say it has a negative effect on your creativity? ( genuinely curious for I love the way you think ) For me, at least, creativity feels the same, with AI I am just able to bring things that I couldn’t otherwise to life or to bring them to life faster It’s true though that I am always spending time thinking, reading, watching stuff just to make sure that I keep my brain “alive” to not affect my creativity I guess it depends on the person because even what you have created through AI is started from “creativity”, right?🌹

I think its both. I see sometimes some lazyness creep in, but also do some much more different things now. I can do things I could not before. But I also somehow do the things I love doing way less. Biggest thing for me though is that vibe coding, or AI generation often kind of looks to good too fast. I feel that sometimes holds you more back then it should.

Possibly, maybe, how are you feeling about this leap in ai art tech period? It’s all advancing so fast. Soon, ai will be able to handle music gen and video gen, maybe music and video gen together at the same quality as static image gen is now. And then better.
