The 1st cbBTC lending markets deployed on Morpho.

cbBTC is the new wrapped Bitcoin asset from @coinbase deployed on Ethereum and @base networks. 

cbBTC will allow the ~ $50B worth of Bitcoin held idle by Coinbase users to be used across DeFi, especially as collateral to borrow stables on Morpho.

But how is it possible to have cbBTC markets on Morpho day 1?

Permissionless 

Morpho's permissionless nature allows anyone to create markets without going through a long governance process. This enables risk curators to deploy markets quickly, unlocking day-one utility for newly created assets such as cbBTC.

Risk Isolation

Thanks to its isolated market design, creating such markets does not increase overall risk. Unlike other lending protocols like Aave or Compound, which only offer a one-size-fits-all risk profile for lenders, Morpho allows lenders to choose their asset exposure through Morpho Vaults.
