2024 felt like a bit of a bust if I’m being honest. I hoped I’d end the year with an agent and work tangible job prospects or my film green lit. That didn’t happen.

Part of it is my own fault. I haven’t been clear about where I’m going and so it’s impossible to get there.

Some of this is bc I have money. I don’t want to work a job and have lost all structure. I define my time for better or worse. And being on my own also means my social capital has shrunk considerably. 

I can’t do another year lost like this. Since 2022 I’ve been hoping to be seen.

In 2025 I will be operating from a place of:
1. Rebuilding my social capital 
2. Creating from a mix of joy and what’s trending 3
3. Create a routine to ensure productivity 
4. Have a writing goal so when the things I can’t control in film come up, I can have a world where progress is on me

I got bunion surgery which corrected the thing that made me less active hence the weight gain and that recovery process was balls. I got engaged. I went off the SSRI which saved me at my lowest. 

There’s a lot to be grateful for, despite the deep dissatisfaction I’ve felt. Anyway here’s to 2025 🥂

Something I did accomplish in 2024 was that I kicked off health/aesthetic procedures I’d been avoiding. In 2025 I won’t need weekly allergy shots and I’ll be well on my way with Invisalign which I’ve hated. I am hoping to be 20 lbs down when I return to the doctor in March for my annual.
