Does Guinness actually taste better in 🇮🇪? There are hundreds of videos online of people comparing Guinness cans bought in Ireland + brought to the US to cans bought in the U.S. Cans are irrelevant. It’s the same recipe and same ingredients. The difference in taste comes down to how it’s served—especially at a proper pub. In Ireland, Guinness is poured into a glass, filled about 80% of the way, then allowed to settle for exactly 119.5 seconds. Then it’s topped off with a different nozzle to finish the pour. Below is an excerpt from the creator of ShitLondonGuinness’s book about the prefect pour.
