Only people I see still talking about FriendTech these days are those with a massive airdrop bag coming I'm not a fan of pay gated content in general - you don't ever have to pay for information in this space - but at least @alfafrens gives you incentive to subscribe to people outside of "access"

FT is cool, but def just a way for big social accounts to monitize. Very hard to “break in” to the group where true money is made because of the paywall. FC is the place for that 50 $degen

agreed. as of now, it seems our @alfafren channels allow non-frens to support you, not price out those who want to chill, and creates those communal incentives for long term subscribing. so far, i dig it. hope we sustain past the invite code drip of 2024.

friend tech always seemed like vapor to me faded FC too for a while thinking it was the same thing but FC seems like a real platform, albeit one we are early to and whose growth is currently sustained by the tipping meta
