Wait, didn't CEX trading start a few hours before the DEX thing came live? This was a huge thing on Day 1.

And Dex had insane buy pressure in the first hour or so, resulting it in jumping to 8 cents, then plummeting down, bcs the CEX buyers saw they can buy on CEX low and sell on Dex high.

the team for some wack reason decided to launch on some no name centralized exchange even though everyone here is an on-chain user

this meant that people who had KYCd on this exchange were able to continually exploit that fact + buy and dump on the dex since the team didn't put any liquidity there

the reason it was going so high was because people were trying to profit off the noobs as much as possible since launch was a disaster

pretty wild between this and the other thread, had no idea, makes sense. 

no clue why so many are building on / with then, but I ask myself this on CT every day.

This story is very good, now I know that chickens fly far 😂 😂

This is the first time I learned about it, and I wonder why it was listed so much in the early days.
