From your lips to god’s ears

Haven’t played competitive games since finishing up with Dota 2 many, many years ago (a game I played since it was a Warcraft 3 custom map in high school)

Even when I play multi-player games, like WoW, I play solo.  Used to do guilds and raids and such years ago, but anymore, I just like to wander my own way through an open world.

Hard to say I def know all my students play competitive stuff, but you’re right the like couch stuff is cooked

I feel like as a generational thing it's probably more likely that gen z plays less multiplayer? it seems like couch co-op is dead in modern consoles, LAN parties are dead, lots of AAA game releases have no multiplayer at all. but then again fortnite is a thing

just feel kinda like once hardware got good enough to create expansive open worlds, the focus kind of shifted to singleplayer
