Kyoto is one of my favorite cities in the world. I’ll be spending most of late November there…maybe a bit earlier if the leaves cooperate. I chase the red leaves from North to South but I always try to spend at least a month with Kyoto as my home base.

The autumn leaves are beautiful🍁 For many Japanese people, Kyoto is a beautiful city and an envy. Nara, located next to Kyoto, also has many wonderful shrines and temples⛩️🛕 This is a photo I took when I went to Kashihara Shrine in Nara a few years ago.
