I think we need to establish an “emotional damage” level for recommendations. I watched “Suzume” while traveling and finished the movie in an airport. 2 people asked me if I was okay because I couldn’t hold back my tears. Beautiful, powerful, but an emotional story I was not prepared for. Trailer has too many spoilers. Skip it. 
Available on Netflix in the U.S.  Maybe don’t watch it in public ;)

Suzume is a very Japanese spiritual film.
The city and countryside scenery are in contrast and very beautiful.
