Average mini app UX should start with as few buttons and UI elements as possible. CarPlay UX is a good starting point, and then slowly add functionality. https://www.google.com/search?&q=carplay+ui&udm=2 Of course there are plenty of instances, e.g. games, where the UI is denser and more complicated.

When will NFTs come back? 1. If you believe blue chip NFTs — Punks, Autoglyphs, Art Blocks, etc.—are similar to art, then you need them to become and remain popular with high status wealthy people who collect art today. Ownership of said NFT needs to serve a signaling value. 2. In 2021, there was some crypto-to-mainstream crossover, e.g. Jay-Z and Steph Curry, but it didn't last (although Jay-Z is still a Punk pfp). And even in that case, celebrities != high status wealthy people who collect art today. The irony is the ConstitutionDAO villain—Ken Griffin—is the ideal target for becoming interested in NFTs. 3. So how do you change that? Initiatives like @nodefoundation in fancy places like Palo Alto are a good start. Additionally, any time a major trad museum or auction house does something with NFTs, there's incremental progress. 4. But I suspect the two biggest factors will be: 1) generational change (very slow) and 2) increased screen time with next gen VR / AR (nearer term).

people assume this week was some coordinated marketing campaign the truth is the effort to coin things from @base went 0 to 1 in <1 day with @drewcoffman doing the creative and the only goal being use onchain tools everything else has just happened. coins are viral I guess.

do people think it's Bad that @ethereumintern_ coined this poster on @zora, earned $217, had 615 people collect it, and now has 1% of the supply he can use to pay people to hang the poster around the world? that seems Good to me https://x.com/ethereumintern_/status/1911403125711192339?s=46

I strongly disagree with Vitalik that pump is bad. pump is a nascent form of content moving onchain — thereby letting it be valued and creating real value that can flow to creators and curators who can identify content value early. there's absolutely things *around* pump (and other asset classes + venues) that are bad (e.g. people manipulating markets), but I think it's actively harmful to denigrate pump itself. onchain creativity is good — and pump has been pioneering. thank you to @alon and team for their leadership 🫡

with the right market structures to enable healthy price discovery, the starting marketcap for most content created onchain should be ~$1

before, the floor was ~$1,600 - most content on the internet is not worth that much lowering the MC, while partnering with Doppler protocol to make it resistant to sniping, means that content can *actually* be valued accurately this will open up more earnings for creators, collectors, and traders win, win, win
