When I say it's a war, people think I’m speaking hyperbole. They reason, "Wars have armed forces, guns pointed at civilians, innocent people harmed physically and/or financially." Read what is happening and try to tell me that it is not a war. https://forum.torproject.org/t/tor-relays-artikel-5-e-v-another-police-raid-in-germany-general-assembly-on-sep-21st-2024/14533

If the general assembly goes well, what would that mean for the node operators? And if it doesn’t go well, what’s the implication?

The implication is that a German nonprofit may choose to disband and reduce the net infrastructure available for providing privacy via tor. An important aspect of tor's ability to provide privacy is through the sprawl of the network giving a larger surface area required to surveil to unmask origin and destination.

Okay So the privacy the Tor provides is at risk And it seems to me like you think the authorities in charge are not doing anything to challenge these raids Isn’t this some sort of gateway to limiting the basic human right of freedom of expression?
