“decentralization is the ability to enter or exit any system without losing yourself or your assets”

i think theres an additional part which is, the ability cant be taken away

for example - substack lets you export your subscriber list. you theoretically can "exit this system without losing your assets"

BUT substack can also just turn off that feature at any point, they are still "centralized"

yes immutability and resistance to 51% attacks on the base layer on where the principle of decentralization is maximally preserved are very important so that rules can’t change
