These are terms of affection, not labels - ladies can be bros and dudes too

Not all ladies are bros, but there are plenty

I mostly agree, but maybe we need some affection terms which doesn't get into the gender bias. Maybe fam, champ, mate, bestie.  I am not a native english speaker though so maybe I am not able to see gendering on some terms because of this would be nice to know which ones are safe
