Here’s what we learned: ⚡️Two days before the hack, Safe's platform had a JavaScript code change. A simple mistake or a deliberate move? We’ll leave that to the conspiracy theorists. ⚡️Bybit’s employees weren’t affected; the attack targeted address substitution when interacting with the cold wallet signers. Classic hack, no big deal—unless you’re the one being hacked, of course. ⚡️The smart contracts on Safe were untouched. It turns out the attack went through a compromised machine used by a Safe developer. You know, just the usual method of breaking in through human error. ⚡️Safe has added extra security measures.
