I find it hard to grasp the content of the video when the playback speed is more than 1.0

Cos I think the brain is more than capable

Interesting, so if I get you properly, it boils down to experience and a strong desire to waste no time ?

I'd say the past 3-4 years have defaulted to 1.5x, just an acclimation thing. 

in time, I will either default to 2x or leave timewasting to an autonomous assistant.
