My take on FC’s unspoken etiquette after 20+ months here: - Debate ideas, not people. Never engage in ad hominem attacks. Don’t let your ego take things personally. Everyone must leave feeling smarter, not angrier. - Make a genuine effort to steelman opposing views before replying. Find your own blind spot, even if buried deep. Assume good and sincere intentions in others. - Take this as an experimental lab to get to the truth together, rather than to prove anyone wrong. Treat it as a PvE game, not Squid Games. What else?

Fight your ego, not people. Be open to learning and seeing things from other people’s perspectives as opposed to forcing your perspective on others, and feeling disrespected when your perspective isn’t glorified Build a supportive community, not empty interaction. Consciously build the community of people you engage
