which mac should i buy? - i mostly do web dev for work - on my computer all day every day. no tolerance for lag, ram limits, etc - not compiling anything, editing video, etc - i have a ton of chrome tabs open - want at least 1tb disk space - willing to pay extra for futureproofing mba, mbp, mini? m3 or m4?

I just got a stacked M4 Pro Mac mini and it’s a beautiful thing, powerful as hell and idles at 4w 🥹

Mac mini seems perf but I can’t travel with it Might be ok though. I don’t travel a ton and can go back to current laptop when I do You think I need the pro or the base model is fine?

I would go Pro for future proofing as much as possible—I’ve been pondering if there’s a way to travel with it with a Vision Pro as the display… 😎

Probably would have to get one of those tiny cheap portable displays to run it enough to get access to the ‘stream to Vision Pro’ option
