At this point, it doesn’t even feel like a decision—with Apple cutting off their dick’s on the Apple ecosystem, Facebook knows they have to make their own hardware platform in order to exploit the users for their data at any scale resembling what they once were.

Still feeling my take: Facebook didn’t have a choice. Platform engagement dying, Apple cuts off a huge stream of their data exploitation methods.. They have to make their own hardware or get fucked: not a decision.. move or die.
