this kinda feels more like tech leaders who created and ran the new streaming services typically undervalued great films more than not, and this may have been dictated by midwits(from analytics), the people who don’t care or want to watch good films which is apparently the majority of people a tragedy of the commons

Yeah, they’re all perfect films for paying half attention, the majority of their mouthbreathing subscribers sit on their phone scrolling feeds and timelines as the shit films stream on their televisions
