After listening to this Trump-Musk interview I’m getting on all the betting markets to wager against Trump winning the election. I find Kamala Harris a fairly vapid political figure but he just sounds terrible in comparison. I doubt Trump can manage against even a reasonably cogent political contender. The entire schtick of his punchlines and so forth also seems tired and no longer provocative. What is he even talking about β€” AI takes 10 times more energy that exists in the world? I told Putin, β€œNo Way,” and he said β€œWay”? He just sounds insane. On top of that he has lost his verbal dexterity and it sounds like he is developing a lisp. Along JD Vance’s lackluster showing so far and lack of charisma I’m thinking it’s game over for the GOP this cycle. Will reassess if new events come about but that is my provisional call.

hopefully it is the last hurrah of the trump shit show, and he fails hard and we can only hope the old dogs of the GOP learn new tricks for the next election rather than keep trying to cram this chode down our tired throats

it would be nice to have Republican candidates who weren’t submoronic corporate puppets for once, but that also applies to the other side of the aisle, unfortunately
