I love adobe (biased for several reasons) but brands don’t have feelings + they are invasive species in human interactions

didn’t appeal to me because it seemed very humorless and uncreative, like a cul-de-sac of blue check refugees? I also think it’s not really possible to migrate communities, it always fragments and becomes a new entity

brands are made of people for sure - but in this context of the brands trying to enmesh themselves with individuals socially it’s more often than not unwelcome bc what value are they bringing? what are they doing in exchange for being part of a community? posturing as if they belong there when it’s usually just to their benefit and not ours. It’s not that there’s no place for them, but they have to read the room… communities are made of individuals who have multi-directional relationships (give and take) but brands are there to take 95% of the time

Brands have no feelings has me thinking. Defo times I’ve felt for the brands I’ve worked at when they got critiqued. Brands are made of people. That mean anything?

Invasive too, yes. But o’ the zingers when they bother to read the room.
