Chain analyst Yu Jin monitored that he shorted 30000 ETH ($110 million) on Hyperliquid with a 50x short on 0x20cm The 4f5 address should be a delta neutral strategy short hedge position of ResolvLabs, not a whale. 0x20c... The 4f5 address and the 0xacB of Resolv The b8e contract addresses have multiple transfers between each other and share the same Binance recharge address. In addition, according to Resolv's introduction document, they implement delta neutral strategy by short selling ETH through perpetual contracts for hedging. So, 0x20C The 4f5 address should be the address used by Resolv to execute short hedging, not a specific whale. @gyokeres

I took advantage of the holidays to finally clean up my Obsidian-powered exobrain / mind garden / digital zettelkasten. It has a modest initial set of ~200 notes which constitute a "cabinet of curiosities" (or Wunderkammer) of sorts for me, with an initial bias toward cognitive pitfalls, mental models, and empirical laws. Each note is meta-tagged and citations follow the APA convention. I have followed Wikipedia's convention of top-level academic disciplines (applied, formal, natural, and social sciences; and, humanities), and created my own subcategories down to level 4 as I saw fit. One of my resolutions this year is to keep expanding this library by recording insightful ideas and meaningful quotes that I come across through personal reflection, conversations, and reading. Joe Doll, General Counsel of MagicEden, an NFT marketplace, stated in an interview that David Sacks, who was recently appointed as the "AI and Crypto Tsar," has only two years before the 2026 US midterm elections to push for policies supporting the cryptocurrency industry. According to Doll, the threat of government deadlock could stifle regulation, and the current government must push for policies supporting cryptocurrency while still controlling both houses of Congress. Doll said, "The majority in the House of Representatives has a very weak advantage and is likely to reverse because it almost always does. Therefore, there may be a divided government that locks things in and freezes them for two years. So we have 24 months to push for some important things @ftihvb

EToro is considering going public as early as the second quarter, but this timeline may change. The company stated that its IPO valuation may be higher than the $3.5 billion achieved in last year's private equity financing. I do lament the destruction of manufacturing, or at the very least the lack of innovation and investment in manufacturing in the United States in the recent past. A lot of it has to do with because labor has become so expensive. There is a ofc - a future where robotics, and embodied AI helps with manufacturing and increased abundant production at lower costs (a story for another time); but the reality is it’s not going to happen immediately, or at least let’s say in the next 3-5 years. But I think one of the main reasons is businesses in general have prioritized gains (because of the way the public equities and returns work) in focusing on gutting manufacturing (i.e. business that can be done for cheaper somewhere else) overseas for the past 2~3 decades is because multiples on software, financial engineering and knowledge work in general have better returns investment wise, so these underlying businesses have been generally cut or just go unsupported or over regulated (or regulatory captured)
