It might be superficial, but one of the freedoms I have loved since I started my first company is the option to choose my equipment without justifying it to anyone or following any corporate guidance. Some friends tell me it's superficial, yet I don't think so. We spend so much time working using tools of the choice that it seems like one of the best freedoms to have 😄

+1 Since I’m a freelancer, I bought myself a Herman miller’s Aeron chair and even if I spend 16 hours at my desk, my back is perfect.
