Well, you’re partly right but there’s a big part of web3 where this doesn’t even matter - it’s as simple as just saying out loud who the scammers are, make tools to track their every move and warn people of them - let them hang dry 

That would be 30-40% of scams gone right there

This is one of the arguments/cases against decentralization/permissionless in my opinion 

Personally I’m team build working system, but the alleged ethos of web3 is decentralization/permissionless, and there’s so much you can do to police other people. You have to rely on their good faith at some point
