Based on docs, the most straightforward on Base (and other chains) looks like API3's QRNG. https://docs.api3.org/reference/qrng/ I like that you're just paying gas costs and it's just ETH. Chainlink appears to have some new subscription payment model which could simplify things, but it's all still paid with LINK.
