how many people were involved in making this Ethereum upgrade happen? 12+ independent client teams? maybe 15+ rollup teams? tens of OSS libraries... tens of thousands of full nodes? almost a million validator instances? half a trillion dollars in market cap on the line... that's a lot of coordinating.

Interesting point. Big evolution of FOSS building patterns. It’s a big self-organizing ecosystem rather than a single project.
