I had a near-death experience 2 days ago when a saved me with the Heimlich at the San Diego airport

I feel lucky to not have died alone in the food court on the eve of my daughter's 5th birthday

I owe a lot to the serendipity of strangers. Even in an AI-supercharged world, we still need humans ❤️ 

P.S. i normally would blog about this kind of thing, but i think it'd give my mom a literal heart attack so just posting it here instead
