Increased conviction that web3 social wont win because of being decentralized but it can win by being composable! β the goal for Farcaster rn should not be 1B users β it should be to get to 25,000 devs at all levels of stack you've got 1 app? we've got 10,000 composable interconnected protocols, apps, economies

this is different from the current way imo today most or nearly all 3p farcaster development is at the app level, or helping on hubs -- which is all about building farcaster's ecoystem to win in the new normal (post Threads) - i think the win must be to build more with other web3 ecosystems

how does Threads play into this? before Threads one could imagine Warpcast or another "winning" FC app being an Twitter alternative Now, the world has shifted I would focus less on a killer app, less on farcaster as the nucleus, and more on a killer ethereum ecosystem furthered by farcaster (and others)...

I always appreciate your casts Jason. Question - why did being the next Twitter (or apparently being the 2020 Twitter) become βthe thingβ when Twitter has never been the winner platform in terms of financial sustainability & user numbers? Is it because the devs lived in it so itβs the most important to them?

Exactly. Where goes the money come from? Well, selling nfts and receiving eth. What paradigm is this exactly? Imo a gig economy. And farcaster alone cannot solve the whole problem

Random idea as a dev who hasnβt gotten under the hood of WC/FC yet, it would be nice to have an easier way to get under said hood. Think etherscan or βinspectβ like browsers have.
