I've been thinking if Following is the right content consumption model for Farcaster. Maybe there are better models for discovering & curating Farcaster content? Will you be introducing the ability to read cast replies? Also, I’m not having a good experience with search. For example, if I type “Artifact” I get a bunch of irrelevant results on Purple so I’ve been relying on Searchcaster instead. Im really digging how new casts automatically load on the new live feed

yes, we're working on perfecting threads on Purple re: search, right now we're not doing exact match keyword search, rather AI based related casts. If results are not great, expand the time frame. We'll also train the AI & introduce "exact match" search thanks for the feedback! 🙏

I really like the UX of Purple so I’m excited to see what you do with threads. I was excited to hear you were experimenting with AI for search but results haven’t been great for me so far even when expanding time frame. Would love to hear others opinions on this.

Here's a search for Artifact on Purple that got good results in last 24 hours. It's tough because it's a brand/product name as well as a thing unto itself It's definitely doable / improvable tho We'll work on it! https://i.imgur.com/VvtQWy0.jpg

I see, so maybe being more descriptive is useful. I was only using “artifact” keyword. I want this to work really well. I’ll continue to test and hit you up if I discover anything interesting or have any more feedback.
