The prevailing narrative until yesterday was Farcaster needs to grow faster / be more aggressive with DAU growth.

Gave invites to Active Badge holders only and now the feedback is feed quality is bad.

We will solve for the near term this week but good reminder permissionless will bring new challenges. :)

Can we stop referring to people as low quality please 

I slept on this and I wanted to write a follow up post just to make clear that I was not picking a fight with Dan, and i wasn’t trying to alter your words – – i was just trying to offer some constructive criticism and dialogue 

I want FC and you to win, really big! 

An alt way to discuss this could be:

“Feed quality is bad”
“Feed quality decreased (it did!)

It’s a social network not a club, people are going to be people, and it’s up to product builders to help users see the stuff they want and avoid what they don’t want 

It’s not about “quality” that’s a judgement that differs from user to user

If the feed is low quality that’s saying the people the active users invited are low quality
