i don't know why you concern yourself so much with that? why can't we be happy that 50% of MAU are DAU right now, and work on making the next day better than the next than the next? this chart i showed just now, that's a win. A win for the entire community. Now let's make the next day better and the next day better.

i really don't get you guys, you just want to complain and say things are bad here's a different perspective: we're building it back up MAUs may be down, but this week we got DAUs up, now let's make the next day better and the next that's the only way to grow a consumer app: make one day better than the one before it, one week better than the one before it, one month better than the one before it.

I’m all about improving things one day at a time, but this industry often seems to live in a fantasy world. The allure of free money generates excitement, only for people to realize that there are very few real users of crypto products and services > you just want to complain and say things are bad I can only speak for myself, but I’m not benefiting in any way by "complaining," as you put it. I’m simply analyzing the open graph and sharing my observations. If I’m mistaken about something, it would be great to have a constructive discussion where we can both learn and I can be corrected

It would be great to get you me and @geoffgolberg on a Farhouse or spaces or something and discuss it in public My point is: there was nothing in my cast that said anything about the overall trending being up or down. I was just pointing out that the last few days we brought a ton of people back. Now we need to build on it.

Ok ill bite. So you said DAU/MAU is at a new all-time high. How many users exactly? Don't get me wrong Jason, I have respect for all the hard work you have been putting in. The same goes for Merkle and all other builders and creators on here. But I also have respect for people who want to speak the truth and present accurate data/stats, and FC loves to ignore/shame these people

The biggest issue is that we have no way to distinguish accounts from real users. You might argue "but Twitter also doesn’t make this distinction" and to that I would say we have an opportunity to do better here. I am always down to chat, so let's figure something out if you and @geoffgolberg are down

I’m not trying to be the one who defines everything for everyone. I just want to describe what we’re talking about more accurately. It’s fine to have multiple definitions of DAU, as long as we clearly explain how we’re counting them
