n.b. this is not a sales pitch; i'd give the airstack part of this to warpcast for free somehow if they chose to use it; my interest is growing the network

If Trending was better I’d use it all the time

My point #2 is once you have a killer a discover tab, then integrate it into the feed in bits

Very few people tap into trending.

We have a few ideas on what to replace it with.

But ultimately, if it doesn't show up in home feeds, it's not going to be visible.

I think even at the very beginning (upon user onboarding), key step: remove the manually curated auto follow list that currently exists and algorithmically suggest a more diverse range of follows initially based on topics of interest selected at onboarding. 

Include new users who are casting on topics in this list.

Speedruns aren't my thing but it's super cool to see more activities and events getting added for gamers on FC/Base! Started following @kyb for info like in this post of theirs.
