why can't you get a haircut at the airport? it would be so convenient

Airport profitability maximization is all about profit per limited sq ft

Gates & Parking are high profitability
Shops need to do massive turnover to deliver profits, pay high rent

Hard to make economics work for haircuts vs. fast food and on-the-go shops, i don't think the salon owner could afford the rent

Would be good for a trim or clean up with clippers.. just need to manage hair mess, but quick buzzes would have a fast turnaround.

Could rent out single barber’s chairs where shoeshines once were.
