Is the idea that "the kids" are so bad at grammar that they only found out about the existence of the em dash from seeing chatgpt use it? And that's why they call it the chatgpt dash?

My assistant says they think it's because chatgpt uses it so often that "the kids" use it as an identifier to when people are using chatgpt. Like "oh I can tell they didn't write that because it has a bunch of chatgpt dashes".

They also seem to have dropped the gpt. It's just chat now.
