In 2025 ETH & its L2s will have: - isolated L1 proposers from MEV's economic centralization - much more decentralized L1 building / L2 sequencing - widespread MEV mitigation at the app / user level - many MEV experiments (Timeboost, MEV taxes, etc) years of hard work for ETH paying off

I loved Labtut’s other major work When We Cease so much that I bought the Maniac in England to have it shipped to the US ~10 days before it was released here. I’ve looked for a year for other books like them, but there is nothing obvious. Best I found was the 3 Body trilogy

There's also a lot of novel crypto use cases that are unlocked by TEEs that are interesting to the developer communities of L2s. See: web3 x web2 interoperability with teleport.best or https://nousresearch.com/setting-your-pet-rock-free/ for a glimpse

TEEs are the best technology today for speed, privacy, and decentralization. They are particularly salient for L2s since L2s optimize for different things than L1 and as a result are harder to decentralize in the typical ways. In particular, super fast UX or novel ordering schemes like prio fee ordering.
