régime des fleurs & their frags have been on my radar for a few years now. i've sampled a few times & i own one, tho mainly because it reminds of florabotanica-- a favorite & different discontinued frag that was broken by a tiny human. the nyc biz base w/ the french branding always feels suspect & the sample set now has 'default frag style' & i get go a lil' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. but, i like a nice violet & i'm curious about their new 'leather' scent & 'green' vanilla makes me wonder. so i have ordered a few new samples to test. results: tbd!

ooohhh! so little flower is the one fb (full bottle) that i do own. its a kick you in the face green and rose thing that i think can be wonderful in humid, high heat summer where frags can just evaporate. it's also an 'attention' scent, like date night imo. i'd be curious to know what scents you do like! i think regime leans more 'old school' and less 'subtle' scents which can be the (first) dividing line...

so on that particular day i ended up buying Velvet Haze from Byredo just bc when i tested it it smelled nice on my skin (but wasn’t 1000% sold on it when i tested on those bits of paper lol). and so far i like it quite a bit! did not expect to enjoy the coconut notes at all bc it’s not really a scent i gravitate towards in general

skin v. tester strips = so different! & coconut can be really nice or it can lean too much into 'sunscreen.' looks like the notes also list osmanthus, which is one ii super love, so i'll have to go looking for my samples...!
