I volunteer at my kids elementary school and am 1 of 3 male volunteers (versus like 100 female volunteers) w/ all of like 2 male teachers.
When I talk to these boys at all they act like it's the first time a man's ever talked to them.
Not sure what the dads w/ sons are doing but they gotta do better.

Also there's an after school running enrichment program for boys called "Boys on the Right Track" and they couldn't get a male father to coach/volunteer to lead it, hence a mom is doing it. It's about teaching boys how to deal with becoming young men. No father wanted to do it. 800 kids at this school. 🤦‍♂️
