Fwiw I'm introverted and did VC for 6 years, for the last ~4 years of it barely did public speaking or conferences and found that using Twitter (would do Farcaster now) was most impactful for me in connecting with founders as an introvert. Had to do the early public speaking/conference circuit for raising for the fund

strategies that I find helpful: 

- hosting events help with any social anxiety - when you're the host everyone wants to say hi!
- prioritize 1:1s over events at every conference
- use writing to connect with others
