I’m very Irish, I don’t use sunscreen, I spend hours in the sun and don’t easily burn Diet matters to a profound degree, also regular exposure and breaking in your epidermis after being hidden by clothes all winter are important

You are made of what you eat and things we eat affect the state of our epidermis, inflammatory response being a good example. We like to think of our actions and their consequences within our system as isolated and disconnected, neither of which are true. For example, I eat a diet high in saturated fats and low in unsaturated fats. Unsaturated fats have double bonds which breakdown in UV exposure causing free radicals, unsaturated fats don’t have double bonds and are more stable
