I was intentionally a bit strong with my choice of language to encourage conversation. :)

I believe 10 years from now the best founders/investors will have very strong online communities that they'll use to repeatedly incubate and launch products. 

Its likely they'll be intentional about their approach.

I said disagree but I’m wondering if all this is dependent on your definition of influencer? Or aspire? I don’t think founders should aspire to be influencers but often if they do their job right they end up there organically.

Strongly disagree. Founders may become "influencers" by merit but definitely shouldn't simply aspire to be an influencer as it is commonly understood.

I'm sure that founders active on FC are over representative of aspiring  "influencers".

There’s some merit to building a following as the ceo type since it’s a scrappy way to bootstrap initial marketing and community

Disagree for most founders though, some of the smartest ones I know don’t have a following at all

Interesting… I disagreed because I was thinking they should be focused on technical aspects, but maybe there’s a point to the amount of yesses
