I turn 24 today
Which is crazy because it still feels like highschool was just a year or 2 ago. Time really does fly.
Today I’ve been reflecting on how I got to where I am now, trying to make sense of it all.
When I was younger I thought I was going to be a Soccer player for German National team (I’m Canadian). As I grew older I really had no idea what I wanted to do, but I did know I was extroverted, love talking with others, and brining people together.
Fast forward to the very early 2020s. I had just finished my last shift at a small wilderness resort/retreat. On the ride home i remember thinking to myself, “I have to get a job, but it’s COVID, and almost no one is hiring”. After getting home and searching for jobs on LinkedIn for no more than 10 minutes, I get a call from @aivan.
“Hey man, I need an extra hand with @ambassadors, you free?”.
