Charity: this narrative was so profoundly abused in the NFT cycle that it caused a fissure between narrative and material reality. Solidarity over charity. Individuals providing mutual aid and sending resources directly to comrades doing work.

Amassing funds from individuals to pour into the non-profit industrial complex actually centralizes resources instead of decentralizing them. The way we conceive of charity generates more coordination problems than it solves; many causes and regions receive funds but are unable to meaningfully improve.

Totally agree re charity being mediated . Funds are siphoned off by narrative hi-jackers — large NGOs, consultants, auditors, on the back of local populations. Not a crypto problem, but one it can help alleviate (despite current flaws)
