My thesis for consumer crypto is stupid simple: bet on apps that know where their customers are 

The first non-speculator customers are still crypto natives / terminally onchain

These customers are increasingly on Farcaster

Look for the apps that use this distribution channel intelligently

Build in the bear market 

Build in the bull market too

Did some things in Sports. Then made some Film/TV. Followed the future early to VR/AR. And now down the 🐇🕳 

Better bridge to speed up withdrawal times and/or go cross rollup, eg not sure if possible but going cross Degen-Zora would be cool

When drafting casts, sometimes when you press cancel and expect to save the draft the app will just cancel and go back to the home page w/o letting you save draft. 

Seems to only happen sometimes when quote casting or when embedding links.

The crypto industry’s main fuel is attention

That’s why it relentlessly churns out new narratives when old ones tire

A month ago it was parallelism, now it’s L3s and tiering. This stuff won’t get built or destroyed in the order of months

Best thing you can do is to question everything from first principles

This is a good take from @androidsixteen.eth, would also argue that  all secondary markets’ main fuel is also attention.

The summary is that layer 3s don't magically improve throughput even more, though they can reduce some fixed costs of batch publishing and deposits/withdrawals.

L3s:
(1) “Rollups on top of rollups” for scalability shouldn’t be default L3 use case
(2) L3 as a “layer for custom functionality of different use cases” = ok
(3) /degen chain on @base - implements Arbitrum to switch native token and support smart contract dev in more languages (eg Rust), aligns with (2)

This is pretty cool. The mint purchase process via OpenSea, however, still has LOTS of steps to complete - bit cumbersome for average ppl. But it’s nice to see more experimentation.
