I'd appreciate it if you could elaborate more on this "edit"ablity of casts (either providing links to discussions, docs, whatever). An article on "Thinking MEV on FC/Deltagraphs" would also be really interesting to start a series of thoughts [If someday this design pattern is used for games, MPs as you said)

if you want to build "edit", you can do it just by deleting and recreating the cast, though this will lose all relations to others objects (likes, follows etc)

I see. So you mean in this design, its not possible to implement the edit at all (now or in the future)? Is it like double spending?

If you want to implement edit and allow all the old likes and comments to remain, it's technically possible but just confusing ux. What if I post "I love dogs", you say "me too" and I edit it to "I hate dogs" later?
